Courtney Hadwin in Nottingham

Courtney Hadwin is an English rock singer and songwriter, born in Hartlepool in 2004. She became known as a teenage finalist on America’s Got Talent after Howie Mandel gave her a Golden Buzzer for her audition performance of Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle.” Her original songs include “Pretty Little Thing” and “Breakable.” In 2017, she reached the final of The Voice Kids UK as a member of Danny Jones’s team. A year later, she advanced through the live rounds at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and into the season final of the American competition. She returned in 2019 for America’s Got Talent: The Champions and performed “Pretty Little Thing” before a judging panel that included Simon Cowell.
