Artist
Covenant is a Swedish electronic group formed in Helsingborg in 1986. Its music draws on EBM, futurepop and synth-pop, and the group is known for albums including Sequencer, United States of Mind and Northern Light, as well as songs such as “Dead Stars,” “Call the Ships to Port” and “Bullet.” Concert recordings made in 1999 formed the live album Synergy. The Skyshaper tour was later documented by the 2007 live release and road film In Transit, covering the group’s electronic stage show and life between performances. Covenant has returned to M’era Luna in Hildesheim and Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig. Its German festival appearances also include Amphi Festival in Cologne.
