Artists
Covet is an American instrumental rock band formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2014 by guitarist and composer Yvette Young. Its intricate, tapping-led math rock is documented on the albums effloresce, technicolor and catharsis, and in pieces including “shibuya” and “Nero.” In 2019, Covet joined Periphery and Veil of Maya for the HAIL STAN: North America tour. The band later mounted the Catharsis Tour in 2023, supported by Scarypoolparty and altopalo. Covet has played most extensively in the United States and Canada, and has also appeared at ArcTanGent in the United Kingdom.
Anamanaguchi is an American electronic-rock band formed in New York City in 2004. The group builds chiptune and pop-rock songs around guitars, bass and drums alongside sounds generated by NES and Game Boy hardware. It is known for the soundtrack to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, the albums Dawn Metropolis, Endless Fantasy and [USA], and tracks including “Meow,” “Prom Night” and “Miku.” In 2013, Anamanaguchi mounted a headline tour behind Endless Fantasy. The quartet presented the material through its established live setup of a rock band and game-console electronics. In 2016, the group opened the North American leg of Hatsune Miku’s Miku Expo tour after recording “Miku” with the virtual singer.
