Crystal Bowersox in Northampton

Crystal Bowersox is an American singer-songwriter from Elliston, Ohio, born in 1985. She became known as the runner-up on the ninth season of American Idol, where she performed rock, country, folk and soul material. Her recordings include the albums Farmer’s Daughter and All That for This, and the song “Farmer’s Daughter.” Bowersox joined the 2010 American Idols LIVE! Tour, which took that season’s finalists to arenas and amphitheatres across the United States and Canada. She later built her concert schedule around theatre and listening-room dates and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
