About Csík Zenekar
Csík Zenekar is a Hungarian folk ensemble founded in Kecskemét in 1988 by violinist and singer János Csík. The group plays Hungarian dance-house music and is also known for folk arrangements of contemporary songs, particularly Quimby’s “Most múlik pontosan.”
Csík Zenekar has performed at Sziget Festival with a live lineup centred on vocals, strings, cimbalom and double bass. Its larger Budapest concerts have included appearances at Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.
