Current 93 in Copenhagen

Current 93 is a British experimental music project formed in London in 1982 by singer and writer David Tibet, its sole constant member. Its recordings moved from industrial noise and dark ambient on Nature Unveiled and Dogs Blood Rising toward apocalyptic folk on Thunder Perfect Mind and All the Pretty Little Horses, centered on Tibet’s spoken and sung texts and recurring religious and visionary imagery. Current 93 made its live debut at London’s 100 Club in 1983. Decades later, the group performed The Inmost Light trilogy in full at the 2011 Roadburn Festival in Tilburg.
