Daddy G in Norwich

Daddy G is a British DJ, producer and vocalist from Bristol, best known as a founding member of Massive Attack and an earlier member of the Wild Bunch sound-system collective. His work with the group includes the albums Blue Lines, Protection and Mezzanine, and songs such as “Unfinished Sympathy” and “Karmacoma.” He also released a solo mix in the DJ-Kicks series. At Glastonbury Festival in 2008, Daddy G performed as part of the group’s set on the Other Stage. He later joined the 2019 Mezzanine XXI tour, which reworked the album for an audiovisual concert featuring Elizabeth Fraser and Horace Andy. Visuals developed with Adam Curtis framed the production at The O2 in London.
