Dagny is the stage name of Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny Norvoll Sandvik, born in Tromsø in 1990. She makes synth-led pop and became known through the single “Backbeat,” followed by songs including “Love You Like That,” “Come Over” and “Somebody.” Her debut album, Strangers / Lovers, brought those bright, rhythm-driven songs into a full-length release. During Sting’s 57th & 9th Tour, Dagny opened selected European concerts in arena settings. She later developed her own headline tours and played an arena concert in 2022 at Oslo Spektrum.
