Dalibor Janda is a Czech pop-rock singer, songwriter and guitarist born in 1953, known for his rough-edged voice and a run of 1980s hits. His signature songs include “Hurikán,” “Kde jsi?,” “Oheň, voda, vítr” and “Žít jako kaskadér,” and he won the Zlatý slavík poll three years in succession. In 1986, he formed Prototyp, the band that became his long-term concert ensemble. His shows draw on the hit repertoire established during that decade, and his daughter, singer Jiřina Anna Jandová, has also appeared as a guest at his concerts.
