Damien Jurado is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Seattle in 1972, whose music moves through indie folk, rock and psychedelia. He began releasing records through Sub Pop, including the album Waters Ave S, and is known for songs such as “Ohio” and “Museum of Flight” and albums including Rehearsals for Departure, Saint Bartlett and Maraqopa. Damien Jurado has toured North America and Europe both solo and with backing musicians. His 2012 NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert drew entirely from Maraqopa, including “Working Titles,” “Museum of Flight” and “So On, Nevada.” He has also performed at Pickathon in Oregon and at End of the Road Festival at Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset.

Alela Diane is an American singer-songwriter from Nevada City, California, whose music centers on acoustic folk and a clear, unadorned vocal style. She became known through The Pirate’s Gospel and later albums including To Be Still, About Farewell, Cusp and Looking Glass; “The Pirate’s Gospel,” “Émigré” and “Albatross” are among her best-known songs. Alela Diane toured with the Wild Divine band around the album Alela Diane & Wild Divine, bringing a fuller ensemble to material previously associated with her guitar-led performances. In 2018, she performed songs from Cusp for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert. The concert film and album Live at the Map Room later documented an ensemble performance filmed in Portland.
