Dan Bigras is a Canadian singer-songwriter, pianist and actor from Montreal whose music draws on rock and chanson québécoise. His best-known work includes the song “Tue-moi” and the albums Ange animal and Le Fou du diable, delivered in a characteristically rough-edged voice.

In 1991, he became a spokesperson for Refuge des Jeunes de Montréal and began presenting the annual Show du Refuge benefit concert. That long-running event became a recurring part of his stage work, while his own theatre and festival concerts have included appearances at Les Francos de Montréal.
