Dan Mangan is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Smithers, British Columbia, and raised in Vancouver. He plays acoustic-led indie folk and full-band indie rock, and is known for the song “Robots” and the albums Nice, Nice, Very Nice, Oh Fortune, Club Meds and Being Somewhere. Dan Mangan played Glastonbury Festival and Sasquatch! Music Festival while touring his early albums. For Club Meds, he toured under the Dan Mangan + Blacksmith billing, a full-band format also documented in concert at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
