Artist
Dance With A Stranger is a Norwegian pop-rock band formed in 1984 around singer Øivind “Elg” Elgenes and guitarist Frode Alnæs. The group is best known for songs including “Everyone Needs a Friend” and “The Invisible Man,” heard on the albums Dance With A Stranger and To. The 1994 album Unplugged documented the band in an acoustic concert setting before it disbanded. After reuniting and recording Happy Sounds, Dance With A Stranger staged a farewell concert in 2002 at Oslo Spektrum.
