Daniel Donato in Peoria

Daniel Donato is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter from Nashville who plays country rock shaped by psychedelia and extended improvisation. He calls the approach “cosmic country,” a name also used by his touring band, and established it on the albums A Young Man’s Country and Reflector. He spent his teenage years playing lead guitar in the Don Kelley Band at Robert’s Western World. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country later carried that foundation into full-band shows built around his singing, guitar playing and open-ended jams, and he subsequently made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry.
