Danielle Nicole in Newcastle upon Tyne

Danielle Nicole is an American singer, bassist and songwriter from Kansas City who plays soul-blues and blues rock. She first became known in the family trio Trampled Under Foot, formed with her brothers Nick Schnebelen and Kris Schnebelen, before establishing a solo career with the albums Wolf Den, Cry No More and The Love You Bleed. Cry No More received a Grammy nomination. In 2008, Trampled Under Foot won the band competition at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. The trio toured extensively after that victory, and Danielle Nicole later returned to the road at the head of her own band, playing blues clubs, theatres and festivals. Her solo concerts use a full-band format built around her lead vocals and bass playing. Her touring group has included guitarist Brandon Miller and drummer Go-Go Ray.
