Danko Jones in Rubigen

Danko Jones is a Canadian hard rock trio formed in Toronto in 1996, led by singer and guitarist Danko Jones and longtime bassist John Calabrese. The band is known for compact, riff-driven songs including “Lovercall,” “First Date” and “Had Enough,” and for albums such as Born a Lion, We Sweat Blood and Sleep Is the Enemy. A 2015 performance at Wacken Open Air was released as Live at Wacken, documenting the trio’s guitar, bass and drums format. The band has also performed at Rock am Ring and Sweden Rock Festival, alongside years of headline dates in clubs and theatres. The band has headlined concerts in London and Manchester and played Scandinavian dates in Stockholm and Copenhagen.
