Danny Sanderson in Tel Aviv

Danny Sanderson is an Israeli singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer, born in Kfar Blum in 1950, whose work spans Hebrew-language rock and pop. He co-founded Kaveret and wrote much of the group’s material, including “Natati La Khayay” and songs from the album “Sippurei Poogy”; he later formed Gazoz and Doda before establishing a solo career. In 1974, Sanderson performed with Kaveret at the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton. He returned for the band’s later reunions, including its 1998 concert at Hayarkon Park and the 2013 reunion shows at the Sultan’s Pool in Jerusalem.
