Daoirí Farrell in Galway

Daoirí Farrell is an Irish folk singer and bouzouki player from Dublin, known for his interpretations of traditional songs. His solo albums include True Born Irishman, A Lifetime of Happiness and The Wedding Above in Glencree, while “Van Diemen’s Land” is closely associated with his repertoire. As a member of FourWinds, he performed Irish traditional music before concentrating on solo concerts built around his singing and bouzouki playing. He has toured extensively in Ireland and Britain, and his festival appearances have included Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Cambridge Folk Festival in England and Tønder Festival in Denmark.
