Dar Williams in Kalispell

Dar Williams is an American folk singer-songwriter born in Mount Kisco, New York, in 1967. She became known through albums including The Honesty Room and Mortal City, and songs such as “When I Was a Boy,” “The Christians and the Pagans” and “Iowa.” In the mid-1990s, Dar Williams opened concerts for Joan Baez as her audience expanded beyond the folk-club circuit. She performed on the inaugural Lilith Fair tour in 1997, then recorded and toured as Cry Cry Cry, a trio formed with Lucy Kaplansky and Richard Shindell.
