DARKSIDE is an American experimental music group formed by Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington in 2011. Its music draws on psychedelic rock, downtempo and electronics; the albums Psychic, Spiral and Nothing, as well as the tracks “Golden Arrow” and “Paper Trails,” are central to its catalogue. The group made its live debut at Music Hall of Williamsburg in 2011. After touring behind Psychic, DARKSIDE played its final show before an extended hiatus at Brooklyn Masonic Temple in 2014, then returned to live performance in 2022. Its festival history includes Coachella in Indio and Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, both in 2014.
