Darlingside in South Orange

Darlingside is an American indie-folk band formed in Boston in 2009 by musicians who met at Williams College. The group is known for tightly arranged four-part harmonies and songs including “The Ancestor,” as well as the albums Birds Say, Extralife, Fish Pond Fish and Everything Is Alive. In 2016, Darlingside performed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music, singing around a single microphone in the compact arrangement associated with their concerts. Tours supporting Extralife and Everything Is Alive later took the band through North American and British listening rooms and theatres. Their British festival appearances include Cambridge Folk Festival and Green Man.
