Artists
dArtagnan are a German folk-rock and metal band formed in Nuremberg in 2015. They describe their music as “Musketeer Rock,” pairing heavy guitars and folk instrumentation with songs inspired by adventure, camaraderie and historical imagery. The debut album Seit an Seit established their style, followed by records including Feuer & Flamme and Felsenfest; their best-known songs include “Seit an Seit,” “C’est la vie” and their version of “Was wollen wir trinken.” dArtagnan performed at Wacken Open Air in 2022, presenting the material through a full rock-band lineup augmented by folk instruments. Their subsequent festival appearances included Summer Breeze Open Air in 2023.
Storm Seeker is a German pirate folk-metal band formed in Düsseldorf in 2013. Its songs combine heavy guitars and seafaring choruses with hurdy-gurdy, cello and recorder; the band’s releases include the albums Guns Don’t Cry and Nautic Force, as well as songs such as “How to Be a Pirate” and “The Longing.” In 2019, Storm Seeker performed at Wacken Open Air. In 2023, the band followed that festival appearance by opening German concert-hall dates on the Ravenblack Tour for Mono Inc.
