Daughtry is an American rock band formed in North Carolina in 2006 by singer Chris Daughtry after his appearance on American Idol. The band’s self-titled debut established its post-grunge and hard-rock sound through songs including “It’s Not Over,” “Home” and “Over You,” while later albums include Leave This Town and Break the Spell. Daughtry opened arena dates for Bon Jovi on the Lost Highway Tour in 2008. The band later mounted the Break the Spell Tour and followed it with a co-headlining tour alongside 3 Doors Down.
