Dave Hause and the Mermaid & Sincere Engineer in London

Dave Hause and the Mermaid is an American punk-rock band led by Philadelphia singer-songwriter Dave Hause, frontman of The Loved Ones. The group is the full-band outlet for Hause’s solo catalogue, including the albums Bury Me in Philly, Kick, Blood Harmony and Drive It Like It’s Stolen and songs such as “We Could Be Kings” and “The Ditch.” Following Bury Me in Philly, the Mermaid became Dave Hause’s established touring band for club and theatre dates in Europe and North America. The group then toured material from Kick and Blood Harmony, while later concerts added songs from Drive It Like It’s Stolen. Dave Hause sings and plays guitar at the center of the full band, and his brother Tim Hause contributes guitar and vocals.

Sincere Engineer is an American punk rock band from Chicago led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Deanna Belos. Its melodic, emotionally direct songs include “Corn Dog Sonnet No. 7” and “Trust Me,” while the albums Rhombithian, Bless My Psyche and Cheap Grills define its recorded catalogue. Sincere Engineer has toured with The Menzingers and The Lawrence Arms, bringing a full-band set to punk clubs and festival stages. Festival appearances have included hometown performances at Riot Fest and trips to Gainesville for The Fest.
