David Bromberg Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

David Bromberg is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and bandleader, born in Philadelphia in 1945. His music draws on folk, blues, bluegrass, country and rock, heard on albums including David Bromberg and Demon in Disguise and songs such as “The Holdup” and “Sharon.” He also built an extensive recording career as an accompanist, contributing to records by Bob Dylan and Jerry Jeff Walker.

During the 1970s, David Bromberg toured extensively with his band before withdrawing from regular performance in 1980 to study violin making. He returned to public performance at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington in 2002, then resumed playing theatres and clubs. His concert formats have included solo appearances, the David Bromberg Quintet and the David Bromberg Big Band.
