About David Broza

David Broza is an Israeli singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Haifa in 1955, who performs Hebrew folk-pop shaped by Spanish guitar. He is known for the song “Yihye Tov” and the album Ha’isha She’iti; his later work includes East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem, recorded with Israeli and Palestinian musicians and produced by Steve Earle.

David Broza established a long-running tradition of annual Christmas Eve concerts at the YMCA, often playing for several hours. David Broza at Masada: The Sunrise Concert documented another strand of his live work, a desert performance featuring Jackson Browne and Shawn Colvin.
