David Keenan is an Irish singer-songwriter from Dundalk who writes folk-rooted, acoustic songs shaped by narrative lyrics. He became known through songs including “El Paso” and “Altar Wine”, followed by the albums A Beginner’s Guide to Bravery and WHAT THEN?
In 2020, David Keenan played a headline concert at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, later released as Alchemy & Prose: Live at the Olympia. He also took his song-led live set to Other Voices and Electric Picnic.
