Maya de Vitry is an American folk and Americana singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She first became known as a founding singer, fiddler and guitarist in The Stray Birds before recording under her own name. Her solo albums include Adaptations, How to Break a Fall, Violet Light and The Only Moment.

During the 2010s, she toured North America and Europe with The Stray Birds, including appearances at MerleFest and Cambridge Folk Festival. Her solo work later took her into listening rooms and theatres, where she has opened shows for The Wood Brothers and Aoife O’Donovan.
