David Ritschard is a Swedish singer-songwriter from Stockholm who writes country music in Swedish. His records include Brobrännaren and Blåbärskungen, while “Sockenplan revisited” reflects the southern Stockholm settings and everyday characters that recur in his songs. In 2022, David Ritschard opened for Håkan Hellström at Ullevi in Gothenburg and also performed at Way Out West. His 2023 appearance on the televised Allsång på Skansen was cut short when he collapsed onstage at Skansen.
