Dawn Richard in Philadelphia

Dawn Richard is an American singer, songwriter and producer from New Orleans whose music moves through R&B, pop and electronic experimentation. She joined Danity Kane through MTV’s Making the Band 3, later recorded with Diddy – Dirty Money, and developed a solo catalogue led by the album trilogy Goldenheart, Blackheart and Redemption. Her later work includes Second Line and Pigments, a collaboration with composer Spencer Zahn. In 2011, Richard toured as a member of Diddy – Dirty Money on the Coming Home Tour. She returned to the road with Danity Kane for the No Filter Tour in 2014, then performed solo material and group songs with Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex on 2018’s The Universe Is Undefeated Tour.
