Hideaki Tokunaga in Yokkaichi

Hideaki Tokunaga is a Japanese singer-songwriter, born in 1961 in Yanagawa, Fukuoka Prefecture. His clear, high-register voice became closely associated with pop ballads including “Rainy Blue,” “Yume o Shinjite” and “Kowarekake no Radio.” He is also known for the VOCALIST album series, on which he interpreted songs previously recorded by female singers. The 25th Anniversary Concert Tour 2011 VOCALIST & BALLADE BEST FINAL presented material from both his original catalog and his cover albums. Five years later, the 30th Anniversary Concert Tour 2016 ALL TIME BEST Presence revisited songs from across his recording career in concert halls around Japan. His Japanese tours have included performances at Tokyo International Forum, while his Osaka appearances have taken him to Festival Hall.
