Artists
Deaf Havana are a British alternative-rock band formed in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, in 2005. Their early post-hardcore sound gave way to broader, melodic rock across albums including Fools and Worthless Liars, Old Souls, All These Countless Nights and The Present Is a Foreign Land; their best-known songs include “Hunstanton Pier,” “Boston Square” and “Sinner.” In 2013, Deaf Havana opened for Bruce Springsteen at Hard Rock Calling in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. They followed that appearance with a main-stage performance at Reading and Leeds Festival in 2014, part of a live history centred on headline tours of the UK and Europe.
The Dangerous Summer is an American alternative-rock and emo band formed in Ellicott City, Maryland, in 2006. The group became known through the albums Reach for the Sun and War Paint, including songs such as “The Permanent Rain” and “Where I Want to Be.” The Dangerous Summer played Vans Warped Tour in 2011 and continued touring through the War Paint and Golden Record years. After a hiatus, the band returned to performing in 2017, then marked the tenth anniversary of Reach for the Sun in 2019 by playing the album in full on tour. Their concerts are full-band rock performances led by vocalist and bassist AJ Perdomo.
