About Defects
Defects are a British metalcore band formed in 2019 by former The Raven Age guitarist Tony Maue and former SHVPES drummer Harry Jennings. Their music pairs metalcore with melodic elements and melodic death metal, while their debut album, Modern Error, includes “Scapegoat,” “Goliath” and “Echo Chamber.”
In 2023, Defects opened for Of Mice & Men and later supported Orbit Culture on a UK tour. The band also appeared at Download Festival in 2024.
