About Deltron 3030
Deltron 3030 is an American alternative hip-hop trio comprising rapper Del the Funky Homosapien, producer Dan the Automator and turntablist Kid Koala. Its self-titled debut album tells a science-fiction story set in the year 3030 and includes “3030,” “Positive Contact” and “Mastermind”; the trio returned to that world on Event II.
Deltron 3030 toured North America after releasing Event II in 2013, presenting the material through Del’s rapping, Dan’s production, Kid Koala’s turntables and an expanded live ensemble. Orchestral players joined the group for selected performances, and in 2014 the trio performed at both Coachella and Glastonbury.
