Deorro & 3BallMTY in Joliet

Deorro is a Mexican-American DJ and producer from Los Angeles who makes electro house and bounce-driven dance music shaped by Latin rhythms. He is known for “Five Hours,” its Chris Brown collaboration “Five More Hours,” and “Bailar” featuring Elvis Crespo; his debut album, Good Evening, followed those singles. Deorro performed in the Sahara tent at Coachella in 2015, bringing his DJ set to one of the festival’s principal electronic stages. His festival history also includes Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas and Tomorrowland.

3BallMTY is a Mexican electronic trio formed in Monterrey in 2009 by Erick Rincón, DJ Otto and Sheeqo Beat. The group plays tribal guarachero, driven by electronic percussion and cumbia-rooted rhythms, and became known for “Inténtalo,” recorded with El Bebeto and América Sierra. Its debut album carries the same title, and the trio won the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. At Coachella, 3BallMTY performed as a three-member DJ act, programming the percussion-heavy tracks that define the group’s records. The trio brought the same setup and its tribal guarachero repertoire to Vive Latino in Mexico City.
