Der Weg einer Freiheit is a German black metal band formed in Würzburg in 2009 by Nikita Kamprad and Tobias Jaschinsky. Its music combines rapid, abrasive passages with atmospheric and progressive writing; the band is known for the albums Stellar, Finisterre and Noktvrn. In 2016, Der Weg einer Freiheit performed at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg during the touring cycle for Stellar. A concert from the Finisterre period was later released as Live in Berlin, documenting the group as a full live band. Subsequent festival appearances included Hellfest in Clisson and Wacken Open Air.
Conjurer are an English metal band formed in Rugby in 2014. Their music draws on sludge, doom, post-metal and hardcore, and they are known for the albums Mire and Páthos. In 2019, Conjurer performed at Glastonbury Festival and Download Festival. Their festival history also includes appearances at Bloodstock Open Air and ArcTanGent.
