Artist
Dethklok is an American virtual death-metal band created by Brendon Small for the animated series Metalocalypse. Small writes and records the music, which includes the albums The Dethalbum, Dethalbum II, Dethalbum III and Dethalbum IV, as well as songs such as “Murmaider,” “Thunderhorse” and “Awaken.” The 2009 Adult Swim Presents tour paired Dethklok with Mastodon, supported by Converge and High on Fire. The band later co-headlined the 2023 Babyklok Tour with Babymetal, followed by the 2024 Mutilation on a Spring Night tour with DragonForce and Nekrogoblikon. Concerts feature a full live band led by Brendon Small, performing in synchronization with animated footage of the fictional group. The touring lineup has included guitarist Mike Keneally, bassist Bryan Beller and drummer Gene Hoglan.
