DeVotchKa is an American band formed in Denver in 1997. The group plays indie rock and chamber folk using violin, accordion, trumpet, sousaphone and other acoustic instruments. Its best-known work includes the album How It Ends and the title song, while its collaboration with composer Mychael Danna on the score for Little Miss Sunshine brought the band’s music to film audiences. DeVotchKa worked as a backing band for burlesque performer Dita Von Teese before touring clubs and theatres under its own name. In 2012, the group performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with the Colorado Symphony; the concert was released as DeVotchKa Live with the Colorado Symphony. Bonnaroo and Coachella are among the festivals where DeVotchKa has performed.
Sons of Town Hall are a transatlantic folk duo whose work includes the album Of Ghosts and Gods. They also created Madmen Cross the Water, a radio-theatre-style comedy-fiction podcast that places their mythical origin story in the early 1900s and connects its adventures to songs from the album. On June 13, 2026, the duo appeared at The Greystones in Sheffield.
