Diana Krall in Singapore

Diana Krall is a Canadian jazz singer and pianist, born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, in 1964. Her best-known recordings include the albums When I Look in Your Eyes, The Look of Love and The Girl in the Other Room, combining standards, bossa nova and original songs around her piano playing and contralto voice. Recordings made at the Olympia in 2001 became the concert album Live in Paris, preserving a small-group performance built around her piano and vocals. A 2004 show was also filmed and released as Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival, documenting her quartet format at the festival.
