Dianne Reeves in New York

Dianne Reeves is an American jazz singer, born in Detroit in 1956 and raised in Denver. Her repertoire draws on vocal jazz, soul and R&B, and her best-known recordings include “Better Days,” the albums Bridges, A Little Moonlight and Beautiful Life, and the soundtrack to Good Night, and Good Luck. From 1983 to 1986, Dianne Reeves toured internationally as a featured vocalist with Harry Belafonte. She later performed at Carnegie Hall and sang at the closing ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City; her festival appearances have included the Montreux Jazz Festival.
