Dick Brave & The Backbeats in Düsseldorf

Dick Brave & The Backbeats is a German rockabilly project launched in 2003 by singer Sasha, who fronted a quintet whose members used fictional identities onstage and in interviews. The group recast pop and rock material associated with Pink, George Michael and Michael Jackson in a 1950s rockabilly style; its albums include Dick This! and Rock 'n' Roll Therapy. In November 2004, the group played a farewell concert at Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle. Two years later, the project temporarily reunited to perform at Pink and Carey Hart’s wedding celebration in Costa Rica.
