Dick Valentine is the stage name of American singer and songwriter Tyler Spencer, the lead vocalist of Detroit rock band Electric Six. He sang the band’s signature tracks “Danger! High Voltage” and “Gay Bar” and its debut album, Fire. His solo work includes the acoustic-led albums Destroy the Children and Halloween Fingers. In 2003, he toured as Electric Six’s lead singer after the release of Fire. He later began playing solo dates, singing and accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. These sets draw on his solo records and songs he wrote and recorded with Electric Six.
