Die Apokalyptischen Reiter in Aschaffenburg

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter are a German metal band formed in Weimar in 1995. Their music draws on death, thrash, folk and melodic heavy metal, and their best-known releases include the albums Riders on the Storm and Licht and songs such as “Reitermania,” “Seemann” and “Die Sonne scheint.” The 2008 live release Tobsucht documented the band’s 2007 performances at Wacken Open Air and Party.San Open Air, capturing two major festival appearances from the period around Riders on the Storm. The band has also performed at Summer Breeze Open Air and Rockharz Open Air.
