Die Egerländer Musikanten in Lucerne

Die Egerländer Musikanten is a German brass orchestra founded by Ernst Mosch in 1956. Its repertoire is rooted in the polkas, waltzes and marches of the Egerland and Bohemian brass tradition, and includes songs such as “Rauschende Birken” and “Wir sind Kinder von der Eger.” In 1966, the orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall in New York during a tour of the United States. Ernst Hutter assumed its musical direction in 1999, and the ensemble performs under the billed name Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten – Das Original.
