Bad Boys Blue in Bernau bei Berlin

Bad Boys Blue are a German dance-pop group formed in Cologne in 1984. Producers Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann assembled the original trio of Trevor Taylor, John McInerney and Andrew Thomas. The group became known for 1980s singles including “You’re a Woman,” “Pretty Young Girl,” “I Wanna Hear Your Heartbeat (Sunday Girl)” and “Come Back and Stay.” Bad Boys Blue toured extensively in Eastern Europe during the late 1980s, building a concert audience that endured through later lineup changes. After Taylor and Thomas left the group, McInerney led subsequent incarnations at 1980s revival events and standalone concerts. Much of their later live work has taken place in Germany, Poland and Russia.
