Diljit Dosanjh in Birmingham

Diljit Dosanjh is an Indian singer and actor, born in 1984 in Dosanjh Kalan, Punjab. He performs Punjabi pop and bhangra, and is known for songs including “Proper Patola,” “5 Taara,” “Do You Know,” “G.O.A.T.” and “Lover.” His screen work includes the Punjabi film Jatt & Juliet and the Hindi films Udta Punjab and Good Newwz. The Born to Shine World Tour took him to arenas across several countries in 2022. In 2023, he became the first Punjabi-language artist to perform at Coachella, and the Dil-Luminati Tour followed in 2024 with a stadium opening at BC Place in Vancouver. His arena and stadium dates have also included The O2 in London and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi.
