Dirkschneider in Wuppertal

Dirkschneider is a German heavy metal project formed in 2015 by former Accept singer Udo Dirkschneider to perform songs from his old band’s catalogue. Its repertoire centres on Accept material including “Balls to the Wall,” “Fast as a Shark” and “Metal Heart,” delivered in the singer’s unmistakable rasp. The Back to the Roots tour began in 2016 and took the project through theatres, clubs and festivals. A concert at Kaminwerk in Memmingen was documented on the live album Live – Back to the Roots; the Back to the Roots Part II tour followed, and a 2017 performance in Brno became Live – Back to the Roots – Accepted!
