Divididos in Buenos Aires

Divididos is an Argentine rock trio formed in 1988 by former Sumo members Ricardo Mollo and Diego Arnedo. Its music draws on hard rock, blues and Argentine folk traditions. The band is known for albums including La era de la boludez and Narigón del siglo, and songs such as “Qué ves?”, “Ala delta” and “Spaghetti del rock.” In 1993, Divididos recorded the live album Vivo acá at Estadio Obras Sanitarias. The band presented Amapola del 66 in Tilcara in 2010, a performance documented in the concert film Divididos en Tilcara. Its 30th-anniversary concert followed at Hipódromo de Palermo in 2018 under the title Haciendo cosas raras. The group performs as a power trio: Mollo handles guitar and vocals, Arnedo plays bass, and Catriel Ciavarella plays drums. Argentina accounts for the core of the band’s live work. Divididos also performs in Chile and Uruguay, including concerts in Santiago and Montevideo.
