Dog Eat Dog is an American crossover band formed in Bergen County, New Jersey, in 1990. Their music combines hardcore punk, rap and metal, often using saxophone as a lead instrument. The 1994 album All Boro Kings includes their best-known songs, “No Fronts” and “Who’s the King,” while Play Games features a guest appearance by Ronnie James Dio. In 1995, Dog Eat Dog performed at Dynamo Open Air in Eindhoven and Pinkpop in Landgraaf during the touring cycle for All Boro Kings. Far beyond their New Jersey base, the band built a long history of European club and festival dates; later festival appearances included Hellfest in Clisson and Wacken Open Air in Germany.
