About Dogleg
Dogleg is an American emo and post-hardcore band formed in Detroit in 2015, led by vocalist and guitarist Alex Stoitsiadis. The band is best known for its 2020 debut album, Melee, and songs including “Kawasaki Backflip,” “Fox” and “Wartortle.”
Dogleg spent its early years playing house shows, DIY venues and small clubs, establishing a live following before Melee arrived. The COVID-19 shutdown prevented a conventional album-release tour in 2020, but the band returned to a festival stage at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2021.
